Gas Price Prediction for February 22, 2012

Posted to the Web February 22, 2012, 8:00 AM EST.

Released to subscribers February 21, 2012, 6:30 PM EST.

    Change in Futures: +0.061

    Change in 2nd-Lowest Retail: +0.01

    Pressure: +0.119

    Trend for tomorrow: Up

Trend for next 2-3 days: Up

Price range through next business day: $3.519 - $3.599

Recommendation for tonight: Buy gas tonight.

    Notes:

    1. Pressure is moderately upward. Prices could increase by 1 or 2 cents per gallon.
    2. Even though prices in Atlanta increased by a penny per gallon over the weekend, when we had called for steady prices, today's price is within the predicted price range, so we'll still call that a successful prediction. In addition, we had recommended buying gas on Friday, and you would indeed have saved money by doing so.

Check back after 8:00 AM EST Thursday, 2/23/2012, for our next prediction, or subscribe to receive tomorrow's gas prices in your e-mail this afternoon!

Subscribers to our e-mail newsletter get the predictions at about 6:30 PM Eastern every business day. This gives you the advantage of having the predictions before everyone else, and in time to decide to buy gas tonight! Save a few cents per gallon each time you fill up.

Why Subscribe? Gas prices are just going up and up, so what's the big deal about a prediction? Prices are simply going up and there's nothing you can do about it, right? Not really! Once in a while, prices halt in their upward trend, and even move downward. That is your opportunity to save money on gas. If you know when prices are going to fall, you can make sure you have room in your tank to take advantage of it. Or if you know prices are going up tomorrow, you can fill up before they rise. And that's what GasPredictor.com is all about! Subscribe today, while you still can!
